Mouton Cadet literally means ``Sheep Cadet". This is a popular brand of Bordeaux wine. "Cadet" refers to the fact that Philippe de Rothschild was the youngest member of the family when he produced the wine brand. Philippe de Rothschild was a racing driver and film producer as well as a wine producer.

Philippe de Rothschild actually died in 1988 and control of the business passed to his daughter.

Smooth Talker is the name of a Merlot. The bottle at one time had a moustache on it. The reason for this I am not certain. An interesting fact is that the name "Merlot" is thought to be a diminutive of merle, the French name for the blackbird. This is a reference to the colour of the grape.

Next we move onto the Huntsman. This liquid is dark ruby red in colour. It has an ``expressive aroma of violets" Noble Green.

It is important to note that the Huntsman is a Shiraz. What does this mean? Well, shiraz is a term used in Australia in recent times. The grape is really called the Syrah grape which is associated with the Rhone region of southeastern France. Carole Meredith has done some excellent research, concluding that the Syrah grape originated from two other grape species: Dureza and Mondeuse blanche

This wine is from South Africa. According to wine expert Lee Isaacs, Journey's End is owned by the Gabb Family who have a history with a great wine called the Lizard. Apparently, "the purest of the pure red berries fall out of the glass, mainly raspberries and redcurrants"

White wines

White wine is a wine that is fermented without skin contact.

The colour can be straw-yellow, yellow-green, or yellow-gold. It is produced by the alcoholic fermentation of non-coloured pulp of grapes, which may have a skin of any colour. Whine wine has existed for at least 4,000 years.
